Second Light

From time to time we offer free training events in order to give back to the community and to help people who may not be able to afford martial arts training to learn the basic techniques they need to get started and to know the fundamentals of self-defense and personal protection.

Our Second Light program was developed for individuals who have been victims of abuse. While the physical damage of abuse is bad enough and will take to heal, the emotional damage often lasts for years or a lifetime.

Victims of abuse often suffer damage to their self-esteem and self-confidence, this damage often will seep over into other ares of their life such as work and personal relationships without them even being aware of it.

Second Light is a combination of the best and easiest to learn self-defense techiniques from a wide variety of disciplines. The other qualification for techniques included in this course is that they don't require a lot of physical strength to execute.

Instead we concentrate on attacks on weak points on the body. For instance, it doesn't matter if the person assaulting you is a weight lifter who can bench press 350 lbs or just a regular guy, his knee can be broken with the same amount of pressure no matter what his strength level is. Nor does it require a lot of strength to accomplish it, a child could pull it off if they had learned the proper technique.

If you're interested in attending our next Second Light training event, please join our mailing list to be notified of time and location.
